An Innovative Assisted Braking Belay Device.

The Edelrid Pinch redefines belaying with a versatile assisted braking system designed for sport climbing, multi-pitch routes, and rope access. Its unique ability to be attached directly to the harness' central ring provides a lower, more ergonomic position, allowing for smooth rope handling without the need to fix the device in place.

The frontal steel braking grooves ensure a linear rope path, reducing rope twist while lowering and abseiling. The anti-panic function enhances safety by preventing uncontrolled descents, while an integrated second braking tier enables precise control when belaying lighter climbers or handling increased rope friction. Additionally, the Pinch is the only device that can be mounted at the belay station in four different directions, ensuring optimal lever positioning.
