The 22 Designs Outlaw X Telemark Binding is a versatile NTN binding built for skiers who move between lifts and the backcountry. It combines free-pivot touring with a powerful, progressive downhill feel, using durable steel and stainless components for long-term reliability.

Free-pivot touring mode delivers up to 50° of resistance-free motion, engaged via a pole-activated ski/walk lever. Two climbing bails (8° and 13°, based on a 27.0 boot) support steep ascents, and ski crampon compatibility adds security in firm conditions. Step-in and release are simple and efficient, with improved boot retention for consistent engagement.

On the descent, the Outlaw X provides instant flex engagement, with springs activating at the start of the turn for precise control and strong lateral stability. A five-position preload system allows easy tuning, while interchangeable soft or stiff springs let skiers match resistance to their style. The main die spring sits beneath a steel plate, delivering smooth travel and predictable power.
